the eyes cannot contain a continuous movement,
so to maintain focus, awareness is staggered between trust and knowing
we must call the momentum intuition,
and let the prayers it forms in our mouths and on our palms guide us
protection is a path, guided by the light,
a pulling from something simple toward a depth that wants to see us flourish,
contributes to our thriving,
steeped in joy, compassion, witness, power, and love
in refusing the call of pointed pain no matter how valid,
we turn toward an inner stillness, that point between heartbeats, between staggered insight and intuitive understanding
where suspended in blazing revelations of vibrational harmony,
therein lies a lack of highs and lows,
where there is no contrast, no polarity,
there is peace
when we stay with the terrain of impossible patience
long enough
we can fashion from it many ways to see ourselves,
to express our containment, retention, safety, love
boundless inseparability of soul and soulmate,
beloved and lover
light and enlightened electric jazz of truth
the primordial dance
the protector says

the beloved says
believe in me
I know you
the enlightened says
see me
I am you
because you exist, I know I can do this
because of the pain at the roots, I became suspended in the beloved
among black salt, apatite, emeralds, candle light
plants that incensed themselves to devote deluge to a fire that would have harmed
the serpentine movement
takes red and white and turns it pink, turns blood and essence
into love
the thread is swaying
through scaffolding of strawberries and bark, souls and vessels of afterglow
We architect a new circulatory system
not just for safety, but for life to flow through after dark.
Space is anything but passive
in alchemizing strength and purity
metabolizing grief and devotion
the scaffolding is no longer a grid of transmission, for the gesture of survivance to become thriving
it’s chaos, play, conduits and capillaries,
to hold new possibilities
shaped beyond what is endured and what will be received.
