This print uses the energy of the “sacral chakra”* to depict a venus-flytrap-esque flower that is surrounded by slowly shifting earthly plates, loosely held but stable protective boundaries and shadow aspects, volcanic pressure and heat is releasing as this flower blooms. The sacral chakra is most commonly associated with sexual energy, which shares itself with creative energy, both of which, when in balance, allow us to express the undiluted essence of our energetic power, through what we manifest physically in this world, how we connect to our bodies and one another, and how we protect that very same energy by using it well and with responsive sensitivity. This print is a celebration of the subtle and yet indestructible force that is our human essence, regardless of how we choose to wield it.
