SPRAWLING HEART was originally published in 2016 by 2DCloud and distributed by Consortium Books. It marked the debut of sab’s collected work after years of self-published zines and artist multiples — a visual and poetic checkpoint made on the edge of major personal transformation.
This 52-page book is made up of intuitive drawings and fragments of a love letter, created before sab fully understood the depth of what was coming: a near-decade of ego death, karmic release, and spiritual change. What once felt like a private offering has revealed itself, over time, as a quiet survival tool — a prayer for returning to the self and the sensory perception of universal love through dissolution.
Now out of print, the book continues to carry meaning for those in transition. it’s a companion and a delicate map for those navigating grief, self-reinvention, or the unknown, offering subtle reassurance and emotional permission while reminding you, it’s not all on you.
In 2024, 190 artist copies were sent to sab as compensation for the publisher’s quiet (temporary) departure years earlier. 180 of these are now being offered here. Each copy becomes a unique energetic piece through signature, intention, and personalization.
