After emboldening the spiritual and metaphysical meaning of the art practice whilst undergoing Thangka training with monastic Thangka master Manoj Lama in Pokhara, Nepal, Sab is offering the opportunity to obtain a custom piece with these intentions, drawn on blended Lokta paper which is made in Nepal and was purchased during her 5-month self-directed study in the Himalayan Region.

About Lokta, from the Paper Mill: Modern Lokta paper is made according to traditional methods from the inner bark of the Defecabana (Daphne) Bush, found above 3500 m in altitude of the Himalayan region of Nepal and is one of the most ancient handicrafts with more than 2000 years of history, used for sacred texts, ritual, government documents and other official documents. This paper industry employs large numbers of local Nepali people helping improve the living standard of rural and urban area low-income families of Nepal.
