Sab Meynert’s work sits at the intersection of art, community engagement, and somatic awareness. Over the past decade, she has led youth art programs, facilitated workshops in schools and community hubs, and carried a long-standing intuitive mark-making & meditative practice into one-on-one somatic tattoo work. Sab now offers drawing and meditation workshops rooted in sensory grounding, creative exploration, and trauma-informed principles.
Below are selected examples of workshops offered to participants across multiple community contexts - all in-person workshops are free for participants, funded by various organizations.
Intuitive Drawing + Guided Meditation – Remote & Online Workshops (2021 - ongoing)
Sab Meynert’s facilitation practice is adaptable to online and remote contexts, engaging participants in intuitive drawing and guided meditation to foster creativity, focus, and self-expression.
Peel District School Board in Partnership with PAMA (2021) – A one-hour online workshop for hundreds of students across five Grade 7 classes via Zoom, introducing intuitive drawing and guided meditation in a remote learning context.
STEPS Public Art – Internal Wellness Committee Workshops (2022) – A one-hour remote session via Zoom for 20 participants, focusing on grounding, breathwork, and creative reflection as tools for personal and professional skill-building.
Self-Paced Guided Meditation & Drawing Video Series (2025 - Ongoing) – An accessible, sliding-scale pay-what-you-can online series. Participants engage with four weeks of meditation and drawing exercises, receive weekly reflection prompts, follow-up guidance, and integration tools, and can communicate with Sab via email for feedback and support.

Intuitive Drawing + Guided Meditation – 5-Week Series (2022)
In partnership with The Big Carrot Co-Op, Toronto – Carrot Rooftop Garden
Participants of all ages were invited to engage in guided meditation followed by intuitive drawing sessions, designed to cultivate self-expression, sensory awareness, and reflection. While photography was not permitted of participants during meditation & drawing process to respect the privacy and integrity of practice, breakout sessions allowed for discussion and debriefing, emphasizing creative exploration without judgment, which is documented here.

A one-hour session for staff participants, focusing on grounding, creativity, and somatic awareness in preparation for their work with the disabled community.
TPK Walking Maps - Zinemaking & Youth Outreach (2015)

Thorncliffe Park Walking Maps
Supported by the Ontario Arts Council, Thorncliffe Park Public Library, and Zine Machine/Broken Pencil Magazine.
A collaborative arts education project in Thorncliffe Park, Toronto, engaging local youth in an 8-week program exploring the vertical and lived experience of the high-rise neighbourhood. Initially designed as a zine-making workshop, the program evolved to center the participants’ own stories and spatial experiences.
Sab, in collaboration with co-lead Annie Wong, facilitated guided walks led by the youth, visiting homes, stairwells, hidden green spaces, and local landmarks. The project culminated in a zine, TPK Walking Maps, capturing participants’ drawings, maps, and narratives alongside reflections from the facilitators.
This project emphasized participant-led learning, community engagement, and creative documentation of lived experience. Several participants continue to be connected and have gone on to lead community initiatives.
This project was presented in at the On The Ground Symposium hosted by MAEBELLEarts at Jumblies Theatre, Toronto, in 2015.
